The award-winning Kyiv Chamber Choir and Conductor Mykola Hobdych present a series of unique, entertaining concerts singing some of the best and most beloved Ukrainian Christmas music.
They will stopping by our Concert Lobby on November 23rd for an interview and performance a few days before their performance at Koerner Hall on Sunday, November 27th.
The Kyiv Chamber Choir was founded in 1990 and is composed of professional singers, graduates of conservatories and musical institutes throughout Ukraine.
Washington Post reviewer Joan Renthaler describes the choir's sound as "big, marvellously focused voices, the kind that might easily hold their own on the opera stage but without the kind of operatic vibrato that can make an ensemble rattle."
