Zoomer mag on the rise!

Zoomer magazine hits newsstands on September 22nd, and editor-in-chief Suzanne Boyd has some of the best known contributors in Canadian magazines, including a cover shot by rock star photographer Bryan Adams; Marni Jackson, late senior editor of The Walrus; Elizabeth Renzetti, the UK correspondent for the Globe and Mail; John Lorinc, well known for Toronto Life's urban affairs; and Libby Znaimer, author and host of The Zoomer Report. Also, founder Moses Znaimer will be featured in his behind-the-scenes account of receiving a lifetime achievement award at the Junos.

Coming all the way from Edinburgh, Scotland, these choristers will have some time to discuss their travels with CJ Kathleen Kajioka (currently hosting the Oasis in Alexa's absence) before wow-ing us with their marvellous voices. Szabo Tastes the Danforth

"This year I will be heading up the Wine Garden for the Taste of the Danforth Festival. Throughout the 3 day festival, The Wine Garden will be offering sampling opportunities of selected Greek and Ontario Wines. Wines will be organized into flights of 3 paired with small bites of food, as well as served individually. Importing Agency representatives will be on hand to pour their wines. Visiting Master of Wine Konstantinos Lazarakis and I will also be leading 20 minute seminars on Greek grapes over the three days, as well as one longer, more in-depth tasting on the Saturday evening."
